Here are just a few of the 1,200-some photos I took on our Christmas trip.
We landed at the Frankfurt airport, then took a train to Munich to visit some Christmas Markets. It was cold and rainy but still managed to see a lot and took many photos.
The port of calls for our cruise were Savona, Italy; Marseille, France; Barcelona, Spain; Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Cagliari, Italy; Palermo, Italy; Civitavecchia, Rome all of which were magnificent! Really hard to say which was my favorite.
After the cruise, we got off the boat in Civitavecchia (don't worry, I can't pronounce it either), got a car and drove to Amalfi. I really, really enjoyed this part of the trip! The Amalfi Coast is incredible! Many, many photos there . . .
Then took a train to Zurich but arrived late in the day to rain and cold temperature so we didn't get to see much. We caught an early train to Frankfurt where we got to tour this great city in plenty of time to catch our plane home. A perfect trip in all ways!
